I had so much fun in the first HBBH, I just had to sign up for Number Two! Shelley and Marlene are such awesome ladies for organizing these, and I have so much fun. This time I was paired with the very talented Mary Govaars. She is such a fun lady, and I've enjoyed getting to know her.
I'm so totally in love with my beautiful ornament! Check it out!
Had to show it to you on the bright orange tissue it was wrapped in, those colors just pop, don't they?
Can you believe that patient woman? Wrapping that cording, one row at a time, keeping it all straight and lined up. I'da been bonkers!
And lookie at the pretty sparkley crystal! They are on top and bottom, and totally complete this awesome ornament. Thank you so much Mary, I just love it! And it's pretty cool that her ornament and Linda's go so well together. Makes me all happy and stuff.
Now go check out the other cool ornaments! Blessings, Shirley
Hi Shirley,
ReplyDeleteAnother beautiful ornament you lucky lady! I love the blue colored cord and the little crystal on both ends, but just one thing though, being that I am a Bama fan, I had to make a cross with my fingers and look away when you showed your ornament on that orange paper, LOL just kidding. Just between us I like those two colors together, just not the football team they represent.
Merry Christmas,
Therese
Lovely! I'll be it's a sweet pop of color on your tree!
ReplyDeleteThere is no way I could have made this, either! The word "patience" is not in my vocabulary! This is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful ornament, gorgeous color and the crystals just finish it off.
ReplyDeleteI missed this one, I'll have to go back later when I have time and check them all out - this is beautiful and you're right, hard work!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful ornament! That blue ornament in the orange paper does make it shine!
ReplyDeleteYour ornament is extremely beautiful! I am sure it'll find its place of honour in your Christmas decorating
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you enjoy it Shirley, I am so happy with the one you sent me!!
ReplyDeleteMary works wonders with Christmas ornaments. Got a kick out of you taking a pic on the paper she wrapped it in. I did the same thing with the one I received from her in HBBH1. Happy Holidays!
ReplyDeleteMary created such a pretty and unique ornament for you! It looks like knitting -- very neat! How special to have a beautiful blue, peaceful handcrafted ornament for Happy Holidays :)
ReplyDeleteFeliz Navidad Shirley!

ReplyDeleteI love it, but of course I do. I decorate with blue and silver too. I love your blue star ornament too. The tea light holder is so cute and clever. Happy Holidays Shirley.
ReplyDeleteShirley thats a very cool ornament Mary made you. It is so perfectly made. I haven't seen an ornament like this and MAY have to try it myself. But like you say, I don't know if I will have the patience or the skills.
ReplyDeleteYour beaded star is so pretty. I bet it looks gorgeous in the twinkling lights. The tea light cozy is pretty too. NOW those I know I can't do! So glad you had a good time, that's what its all about! HAPPY HOLIDAYS, ~ Shelley
